Carved Stairs

Some places can surprise you and provide quite the adventure.

This is at a former stone mine turned park called Red Rock Open Space in Colorado. There are miles of hiking and amazing stone formations. There is a spot in the middle of the formations where pieces of this stone was literally sliced into the huge jutting stone. Can you see the slices at the top of the photo?

It's in the Red Rock Open Space in Colorado Springs, right next to Manitou Springs. Check it out - it's awesome!

Wow look at the poor tree's roots. Almost looks to me as though they sliced and shaped it from mud =) I would appreciate it if you could have a look at my blog and would love to hear your opinion. Warm regards
