Teuku Umar merupakan seorang pahlawan Indonesia yang berasal dari Aceh, namanya begitu terkenal oleh masyarakat Aceh, Indonesia bahkan Belanda sekalipun. Kini nama beliau disematkan pada salah satu Universitas Negeri di Aceh, tepatnya di Kota Meulaboh.
