Here is my Tuesday's contribution to @juliank's @photocontests under the category #landscapephotography.

The camera used here was Nikon D5000.

This walkway was taken along the beaches of San Fernando, La Union. I have been to this place plenty of times but looking back I have no idea what is the story behind this. (Any idea La Union steemians?) Every time I go to the beach and stay overnight, I like to go early in the morning and take a walk or a jog whatever mood I am in. However, in this particular area, the beach is scattered with small corals and pebbles so I would have to be careful if I want to jog. This walkway has a mystery behind it and a lesson, too.

Just like here in steemit, I began walking this road. It is a rocky start but as I go on the path seems well laid out and concrete. There are pot holes and bumps along the way but the path is straight and still continues. After a while, the road suddenly ends making one think to either go forward and swim in the dizzying and overwhelming things that goes on here in steemit and either be drowned or keep swimming to where? No one knows. Or should one stop and go back?

I have read one blog about here in steemit. One of the reasons why I hesitated starting here was from a previous experience in another site that closed because of issue regarding plagiarism, spammers, etc. However, it was a given factor that that will not be resolved I think. I decided to go ahead and start steeming and avoided those spammers. So far I have not encountered plagiarism.

While I don't uphold myself as posting "good content," what made me wonder were contents that were obviously not well thought of and probably photos that were plagiarized that were earning a lot. Then I have read about bots. We can buy votes to help promote our blogs. I did that too to help me get more followers and increase my reputation and hopefully earnings so I can increase by steem power as per the advice from other users.

In the beginning, I thought it was good only to realize why bother interacting and socializing? I can post anything I want and just buy votes for my posts instead and just leave it to earn, right? It's not against the rules because why would they allow bots in the first place? Every one seems to be doing it, so why not do it, too. Every one is here for the money in the first place.

Will there be a solution to this matter?

So, just like the pathway above, it seems my steemit path has ended and I am now swimming in a sea of uncertainty going nowhere.
