This is my entry into the LandscapePhotography contest by @juliank.

Walking to the outer limits of the Himalayan city of McLeod Ganj, we came to a cliff. Gazing down into the distant valley and the stream running through it, we noticed many dots of colour. 

Taking a closer look, we realized that there were people down there. Many of the people were washing their brightly coloured blankets in the stream, then laying them on the rocks to dry. 

Contest – How many people? (Prize = 100% upvote)

How many people can you see in the valley? That means actual "PEOPLE," not blankets or empty items of clothing lying on the rocks.

Note – McLead Ganj is the home of the Dalai Lama. (Sometimes, it is said that he lives in nearby Dharamshala, but actually, his temple is on the border between the two towns, closer to McLeod Ganj.)
