That area is at the south most end of Nova Scotia and the peninsula is referred to as Barrington Passage. It is attached by a causeway. The Lobster capitol of Canada

You do not see anything on that run but ocean and sand, trees, lobster traps, a fish plant and houses belonging to the fishermen. Once you are finished and cross the causeway you can enjoy a drink and food at a lovely restaurant that I did a blog about a few weeks back. I will however have trouble keeping up.
