Hierve el Agua, Oaxaca Mexico

in landscapephotography •  7 years ago  (edited)

In Mexico, near the beautiful town of Oaxaca there are some natural springs - it's waters are over saturated with minerals such as calcium carbonate which, over the course of centuries, have created this  rock formation called  Hierve el Agua.

Hierve el Agua is indeed a stunning place! I went there last year - oh and the weather was so good - makes we wanna catch the next plane out of Europe - freezing temperatures here :/

The weather was certainly perfect :]
