Rusty Rust • Mojave Desert
Rust and blue sky are very complimentary and out in the desert there is plenty to go around! I photographed this rusty barbed wire fence last month. It looks like someone was using it for target practice.
The wheelbarrow without a wheel reminded me of a beached whale. It seems like there are plenty of those on Steemit... just lying around working on a rusty tan!
I photographed the rustiness with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.

While looking for the best summer camps for my kids, someone suggested a photography camp. One of the projects they have is to photograph rust which I thought was great for colour, texture and the profoundness of watching human creation return to the earth.
Mojave seems like such a neat place through your lens. Awesome.
