Although not immediately obvious, this photograph is a companion picture to the one I posted earlier today. This one also shows the coast at Mullaghmore, Co. Sligo, albeit from the air and with a more of a focus on the sandy beach than the boulder beach.
This picture was taken from a helicopter and appeals to me for two reasons. One is obvious; the other much less so. First, I enjoy the range of patterns and textures in the picture. And I like that it you something that you can really only see from high up: the contrasting colours of the river water, seawater, sand and vegetation.
The second thing that makes this picture appealing to me is the smiley face. I could tell you where it is, but where would be the fun in that? Can you find it?

I never fly a helicopter yet, is this expensive?
