The rising sun paints the sky around Mount Errigal, Co. Donegal, in tones of pink and purple. I really enjoy the reflections of the colours in the lake. It makes for a spectacular view.
I was keen to include this photograph in my book 'Atlantic Light', but couldn't justify it in the end. That book was a coastal project and Errigal is several kilometres inland. Not a great distance, but far enough to be stretching the definition of the word coastal.
