Leading Lines Make a Strong Vertical Photograph

The sun rises over the Cromwell Point Lighthouse on Valentia Island, Co. Kerry. I took this from Geokaun mountain on the island one morning while leading a workshop. I have panoramic photographs of the same view, but this vertical composition appeals to me. I enjoy how the lines of the land and the shape of the sea draw your eye from the bottom of the image, through the lighthouse, to the rising sun at the top of the picture.
