The Skerries are a series of small islands, little more than rocks, off the North Antrim coast near Portrush and White Rocks. Seen here from near the Giant's Causeway, I was on my way to get dinner when I saw this spotlight form on the water. There was no vantage from which to get a clean photograph where I was, so I kept driving and hoping that the effect would last (so often it doesn't!). Turning off onto the road to the Causeway, I finally came to a point where there was nothing obscuring the view and I was able to make this image. The brooding clouds seem ready to swallow up the tiny islands, and sheets of rain advance on them.
