About 7,000 languages are used in all the world to speak, among which there are very few languages spoken and strong in the internet. According to a study published, about 85% of twitter tweets were published on Twitter using eight languages. According to the study, the use of different languages and presentations in the cultural and diverse cultures online has emerged.
Different languages are now taking various initiatives to highlight their language online. They are working to raise the issue all the time, to raise awareness, and to highlight their activities. As part of this, on 21 February International Mother Language Day, the campaign "Tweet to Mother Tongue" has been started in collaboration with Rising Voices, Living Tongues Institute, Endangered Language Project, and Indigenous Tweets.
Through this initiative taken online, a range of world language and cultural diversity, especially indigenous, minority, traditions and endangered languages will be developed. Besides, everyone can know the language and presence of languages on the internet.
