had to change things up today instead of rainy van days — change of space = laptop club!

some days you just make the decision and go with it. today it was let’s get out of the van and take a walk, grab a bus and enjoy a decent flat white and a light brunch of sorts and have laptop club.

this consists normally of a bit of a bus ride, walk, hill climb (get those stairs data points) and finally the pay off of a table, coffee and food — not sure what it is about this place maybe the light from the windows.

i guess it’s kinda a weird place to have laptop club, what with it being in a hardware store and all and i guess most people come to shop and have a coffee but for me it’s more than that.

the internet is always good, always solid, they paid for decent internet and what they offer is backed by a family that has run this business/spot for decades, it’s fabric of the local economy — people know and trust it.

i’m always interested in how local businesses move with the times, i think this was probably an afterthought that grew into an extra income that helps cover there slow periods, that being said the carpark is always full here.

i can’t stress the importance of spaces, taking time out, doing what your brain tells you not to do, to give notice to your stressed, anxiety or apathy centre and do it anyway, just do it, reflect on it later, even sleep it off.

i’m gonna get so much done in the next few hours because not only am i only the fixed laptop (£20 fix for the win) but it has this great broken in keyboard, a keyboard that has had a decade of keystrokes on it.

writing for me is so much easier when the resistance on the keyboard is just so, it’s buttery smooth, i can feel the amount of words that @dayleeo has typed on this, it’s like a broken in horse with cpu horsepower to suit.

time to crack on then, brunch and flat white no1 is kicking in hard like a mule and i’ve got at least seven titles for blog posts that are staring at me, screaming at me to get the flesh and bones to the meat of them! ;)
