NordVPN suddenly didn't work in UBuntu - problem solved!

I am writing this article sitting in a shopping mall using the public WiFi network. As we all know, that is a dangerous act, especially if you don't take the necessary security measures. That is why I always start the fun by connecting to a NordVPN server, in order to encrypt my data and to hide my activities from anyone with bad intentions around me in the shopping mall.

I have been using ExpressVPN in Ubuntu as well, but my personal experience right now tells me that NordVPN is way better to use, it is easier to use, and it doesn't bug my entire WiFi connection whenever I disconnect from a server or change a server.

But, today as I tried to connect to a NordVPN server, I received an error message telling me that I couldn't connect to the server and that something was wrong. I tried to connect to a different server, but I still received the same error message. I tried to check my account information, but I still received error messages.

In the end, I had to contact their customer service and they told me that this is a bug frequently seen among users who have upgraded their operating system to JAmmy Jellyfish (22.04).

They promised me that this issue will be solved in a future release of NordVPN for Linux, but until then, they just told me a command that I need to run that would solve the issue and once again allow me to use NordVPN in Ubuntu.

So, I ran the command, and after that, I could once again type nordvpn connect and automatically connect to the NordVPN server deemed to be the best for me at my present location based on server latency and more.
