LASCO C/3 Blue Screen Venus Brightness Damaged Instrument. Jan 9 2018

After years in space the LASCO instrument is damaged by a bright Venus? SO said NASA! Below and to the left of the Sun you can see the darker blue spot the may stay there as long as this instument is in operation.
