This is for the science fiction fans!
It's an acrylic edge-lit lamp. Cut and engraved using my laser cutter, naturally.
The light comes from an off-the-shelf RGB LED strip base, I just cut a tab in the bottom of the acrylic shape sized to fit into the existing slot. Those bases have a set number of colour effects and a remote, but the effects are not exactly creative so I will switch it out for an Arduino at some point.
I’m a fan from that book.
