Sri Lanka defeated by 59 runs to 44.Sri Lanka led by 11 points to 10 in the first quarter of the match which began in Liverpool, England.
But in the second quarter, Fiji won by 17 to 9 points.
The first half ended with Fiji leading the group by 27 points to 19.
Fiji won the third quarter by 8 to 20 points.
However, the Sri Lankan women came back into the match in the fourth quarter and won the quarter by 16 to 12 points but it was not enough to win the match.
Fiji won the match by 59 to 44.
