heavy heart

Hey Steemians,

I'm feeling very sad today. I'm usually very positive and happy but I just can't shake my sadness.

My heart hurts for everyone in Las Vegas.

I imagine how excited I am when I purchase a festival ticket, and how happy I am when music is playing and i'm dancing around with my friends. I imagine that everyone at the Route 91 Harvest Festival felt these same emotions.

I'll never understand why someone would want to take that happiness away. Human life is so precious and short. We may have different political and religious views, we may have different colors of skin and we may come from different backgrounds, but we are all one. We all inhabit this earth together. We all have souls. We all have a purpose; whether we know that purpose or not.

I see terrorism like this happen and instead of people coming together, we find ways to let it separate and divide us. Instead of arguing with each other and shaming a country star for running for his life; we should show each other love and compassion. We are TOGETHER in this thing called life.

I pray for everyone involved. I pray for the victims and their families. I pray for human kind. I pray that we all love and be loved. I pray for peace. I pray for mother earth and all of her inhabitants.
