The boxy, food-motivated world of Pokémon Quest has attracted new players, and with good reason. In fact, it's attracted so many that the little Switch download topped more than one million downloads worldwide in its first two days available.
In Pokémon Quest, you put your time-management skills to work, sending trios of Pokes on quests around Tumblecube Island. New monsters either wander into your base camp on their own, or can be attracted their by the food you make in your base's cooking pot.
The game has been downloaded more than a million times from the Nintendo eShop and still going. And to celebrate, Japan's Pokémon Center is offering up some real-world gifts.
Squarified "Poxels" will be on sale at the Pokémon Center, including faves like Pikachu, the traiditional Gen 1 starters, and Eevee. Buy one and share a photo online with the Center's campaign hashtag #ポケモンクエスト, and you could receive a Poxel papercraft. (Supplies are extremely limited.)
Pokémon Quest will be rolling out for iOS and Android later this year.
