The adventures of the Kitauji High School concert band club will continue in Sound! Euphonium the Movie ~Oath of the Finale~ (known as Gekijouban Hibike! Euphonium ~Chikai no Finale~ in the original Japanese), an original theatrical anime film that will hit Japanese theaters in the Spring season of 2019.
Aside from the new key visual above, details on the production are currently scarce, although it is known that Sound! Euphonium TV series & film director Tatsuya Ishihara is returning to direct, and voice actress Tomoyo Kurosawa is reprising her role as main character Kumiko Oumae.
According the synopsis for the new film, Sound! Euphonium the Movie ~Oath of the Finale~ is set in Kumiko's third year as a high school student and a member of the band club, and she will act as a mentor of sorts for a new generation of "juniors" who will be joining the club.
