Capturing the beauty of Latex on a cinema camera

Of course i do not taylor for the fetish´s sake only. Latex needs to be worn and captured indeed :-)
I have a motion picture background which went through a couple of scientific and artistic stages. For quite some time i was completely fascinated by classic 35mm imagary. For me it was the foundation of cinematic experiences.
What do i love about it? Mostly the grain, colors and the dynamic range. Technically speaking.

Artistically i love the choice how to render skin toning and how it´s rendered against the environment or background to catch the viewers attention. The eyes have to have something flickering whenever the cross the camera´s line. There needs to be a shine. Even if it´s just a tiny little sparkle. The Latex mostly works like that. It exists by it´s shine. And represents the most surreal element in a portrait which emphasizes the connection between the model and the material. They both merge somehow.

For this foto session i taylored a tight top and a simple pencil skirt. The black color fits nicely with the red color of my model´s hair

model: Vaine Villaine

I shot Vaine right on my balcony with my RED|Camera which is a DSMC. So a nice multi-purpose device.
The Sessions are always partially like a photosession but shot like a movie in 4-5K. You are shooting a movie actually. Later in post you run throught motion picture takes to find the image that fits the most. I like that approach a lot but if you are too picky it takes some time to find the best pose or look. :-)
