Starting by wishing good health to all Steemit friends. Let's participate in another engagement challenge for the third time. This week's engagement challenge theme is SLC22-W3 / Human Rights (HR). Human rights are about respecting and guaranteeing the rights of all people equally. Anyway, today I will share my experience with you

Part I:

Based on what was explained in class, say in your own words and with explanations why you believe human rights are being respected or violated in your country.

My country is Bangladesh, I am a citizen of Bangladesh. And human rights are being respected in our country. Most of the citizens today are respected and they are well elected. But the number of Muslims is more than the number of Hindus in our country. Human rights and laws were violated in our country quite some time ago. For example, music was banned in our country and people of our country were somehow opposed to Hindu worship. But now our country is completely safe and running smoothly. In our country Hindu-Muslims are always leaving as good citizens. Sometimes human rights are violated in our country like a Muslim boy falls in love with a Hindu girl in our country. Saying that their family does not accept. So the girl read the kalema and recited the Koran and became a Muslim but her family did not accept her as she was a Hindu. The boy violates human rights and lives separately with the girl. I mentioned two things that human rights are done in our country and in some cases human rights are violated.

Please state, according to your country's law, whether human rights are of equal value in your country's constitution, whether they are sub-constitutional, or whether the constitution takes precedence over international human rights treaties. Human rights organizations work in accordance with international human rights law treaties.

My country is Bangladesh. According to the laws of Bangladesh, the constitution has equal value. There are people of different religions in our country. And according to the law, it is directed to hold hands with people of different religions and to maintain deep relations. Human rights are one's own human resources. It is one's own responsibility and duty to protect one's dignity. Human rights organizations work in accordance with international human rights law agreements. If they do not work, they may face big problems. The laws of our country are very strict and difficult.

And if our country's human rights organizations don't comply, there are big penalties under the law. People of our country always think of each other as friends. And always like to be in each other's danger. Laws of my country always speak to the truth. Abiding by law is an international human right of our country.

Part III

Case Study 1.

A woman loses her son when he dies at the hands of assailants who killed him for stealing his car. The attackers were later arrested and tried for murder. He is serving the sentence provided by law. However, the woman believed that her right to life had been violated and decided to file a complaint with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.

  • The question involves a woman losing her son. To the mother, her child is the greatest. Losing a child, he wanted to choose the right to life. It is called its own human rights law. I think this woman was asking for her own child rights. I would say the boy should be punished enough for what he did. The mother of the child should get it right.

But he still decided to file a complaint with the Inter-American Commissioner for Human Rights. I want the American commissioner to make the right decision and get the right price for his child through the human rights laws of his country. Many such incidents happen in our country too. Sometimes housewives are killed, sometimes children are killed and sometimes husbands kill their wives. I went to the law department of our country and sought justice. And we get just enough judgment. I also want the mother of that child here to get justice according to the law of our Bangladesh.

Case Study 2.

One arrested in anti-government protests. He was beaten up by police officers, resulting in his death. The prosecutor in charge of the case started an investigation after not being able to identify the perpetrators of the murder. Several years pass and the victim's relatives return to the prosecutor's office for answers and are told that the case is closed because several years have passed without identifying those who caused the death. Please state that you believe the human rights of both the victim and his family are being violated. Please explain your answer.

Yes I believe that the human rights of both Victing and her family are being violated. Because the victim has lost his right to life due to anti-government protests and police beatings. The man who was beaten should have been thoroughly examined. That's because we don't want to run after such a law after a life is wasted. For that, I say that sometimes anti-government and police beatings have been in our country for a long time

Some time ago in our country the man who was caught by the police a few kilometers away and beaten a lot was actually perfectly and clearly innocent. And I will also say that the man was in love with a girl because the man was poor and the girl was born in a noble house and their love broke up. As a result, the girl's father handed over the boy to the police. They beat the boy a lot. Then I would say that the boy was eventually killed by poisoning the rice. Such act is called violation of human rights law in our country. Sometimes we have to think about the law of our country which is wrong and which is right. Wrong can never be right and right can never be wrong. This would violate our laws. If the people of our country walk with such thoughts. Then our human rights laws will be destroyed.
