George Floyd - Why this case is DIFFERENT.

Why the MURDER of George Floyd is different from many of the previous excessive-force, police-brutality cases.

Having, painfully, watched the video of bad cop Derek Chauvin choking the life out of George Floyd, it is hard for me to believe that anyone could call this anything but MURDER.

What was different this time, was best described on Fox News, by Geraldo Rivera. "THIS WAS TORTURE."

While I'm not a big fan of Geraldo Rivera, he made the point, that this was, in fact, torture.

George Floyd was struggling to breathe, and struggling to plead for relief. And for several minutes, it was clear that he was slowing being killed. And if you watch the whole video, you feel helpless, watching George slowly dying, and begging for his life.

The coldblooded bastard, Derek Chauvin, ignored George Floyd's pleas, while bystanders were witnessing this brutal incident, and verbally expressing their shock and concern about what was happening.

And for the other cops on the scene. It was their DUTY to stop this senseless MURDER. They also should equally be charged.

I understand the difficulty in getting a conviction for FIRST DEGREE MURDER, therefore I also understand why the charges were only THIRD DEGREE murder and manslaughter. But if Chauvin doesn't get a mandatory 15 to 20 years in prison, without the possibility of parole, I will be very disappointed, and outraged. I would also like to see the other cops on the scene, anyone of which could have stopped this, to also be charged and convicted and imprisoned for at least 5 to 10 years each.
