A good paper to read and learn about why Machine Learning and Blockchain will reshape the Legal and Law professions. Interestingly these professions assume that computers will not replace some tasks which are non-routine or are more involved with reasoning, but this paper argues otherwise. Surely the level of sophistication of more advanced forms of reasoning will continue to be out of reach for computers and algorithms, but that is for the short-medium term and not taking into account further technological developments we are not yet foreseeing.... But things are actually good for these professions in the long term, as what we might achieve is better legal and justice systems, with humans still essentially in command but with an increasingly crucial help from technology! :)
