Why is it so dead in here?

Where did all the users go?

I have more than 200 accounts on autovote and I don't vote enough to keep my vote power down.
I joined voting trails to find new content, but even those have slowed down.

All hail, stinc!
How do you like pushing adoption into the future, now?

Seriously, we got more action now that we pushed his highness off his high horse, but nobody wants to talk about how great steem is.
Wtf?

We got human readable addresses, three second block times, free transfers, a stable coin, and have recently taken control of the platform from a false leader.

We got lots to love here, Steemizens.

Tell your friends,....

Well it could be something to do with half the accounts being AI, all the real bloggers quiting, the fake CIA accounts angle, the shit payouts, the worthless autovotes, the flagging, the bot wars, the attempt to turn the platform into some bullshit gaming platform, or most of the comments being fake. Just maybe...

I think it was the hijackening.
Until stinc cemented proof of wallet with linear rewards we were doing just fine retaining users.
We've kicked ned out of his petite tyranny, now we need to muzzle those accounts that abused the n2 and restore proof of brain.
Like we already did, before stinc booted dan and hijacked the chain, with @smooth's whale experiment.
The n2 works when influence is capped at 500mv.
Only ~70 accounts are impacted and most of those don't vote now.

If you ask me, i say stinc did it on orders from their handlers.

the corporate nature of this platform... means their objects are probably not be ours.

why did you fight for bots? how do you now fight for proof of brain with 200 bots?

seems to me that is just stealing.. all those bots.

Yes, when stinc hijacked the chain to force proof of wallet on us they showed their true colors.

I've never 'fought for bots'.
I have been one of the most vocal opponents of bid bots.
Just today i chastised a whale for his breaking of pob with his vote selling scam.

I use an autovoter because i like to keep up with certain authors and couldn't otherwise keep track of them all.

I'm sorry I misread. thanks for clearing that up. my hypocrisy meter peaked when I thought I read 200 bots + proof of brain. I will send it in to the shop, it is clearly faulty. lol.

..because it's a fundamentally flawed system not based on ethical behavior.

We are ethical creatures (85% of us).

Non ethical structures don't appeal to people (even if they don't consciously know why, 'something isn't right', will do it)

I'm with ya.
Good people and bad people don't mix for long.

Here's to outing the bastards,...

Have you tried our service: https://steem-bounty.com/services/vote-club

That should get you a bunch more upvotes. Would love your thoughts on this.

I like steem bounty, it adds some randomness to bid bot circle jerks, but i think teaming up to increase rewards lacks class.
TSU picked me to be part of their thing, they didn't ask, just started voting me.
I wasnt expected to give anything in return, but i do.
I think i lose the moral high ground by joining groups just to increase rewards, but if you all decided to include me, i might be persuaded to give back.
Otherwise, I'd have to pass.

I think many who came here were fed a line of bullshit by the likes of Jerry and Joe, bringing that quick pump and dump mentality that is pervasive in crypto with them. As the prices kept falling last year, they fell off as well as it was never a long term investment to many of them. I figure they will be back at the next up cycle, and for most of them that were in my follow list before I culled them they will find my votes already found new homes. There are two people from the many I have culled who will always have a place in my follow list regardless of how long their absence may be.

How many 'gems' did @curie pay that immediately cashed out?
Most of stinc's favorite authors took their profits and ran.
All hail, stinc!

I was here when jerry showed up and watched stinc slob his knob clear up to the point that he slobbed his own.
And the btc guru that got out of prison?
He got serviced by stinc until bernie outed him for defrauding folks with some steem jewelry scam.

Seriously, at this point, i suggest doing the opposite of anything that stinc proposes.

It is up to us to prevent the bus from getting driven off the cliff.

My follow list is mostly dead, but stinc's replacement cto said he didn't really care about the first million customers that left due to the bs, so we got that going for us,...0.o
