A story of 122% return
It's a short story really. Told in 1000 words by a picture.
I had never heard of LBRY until a handful of hours ago, but it actually sounds kinda like steem. It's also built on blockchain tech, and I know I read people talking about using steem to do something like this with using micropayments to distribute content, but that's kinda the whole point of this. It is content distribution, but kinda geared at things that have recurring releases. It'll be interesting to see what comes of it.
Here's their whitepaper kinda thing, if you're interested - https://lbry.io/what

Update: For those wondering about when this comes out or if it is already out, to the best of my knowledge, which is admittedly limited and comes almost entirely from an article written this summer, I think it was very very partially "released" on July 4th. ->https://cointelegraph.com/news/lbry-launches-blockchain-based-creator-controlled-content-app-new-appcoin
I think they're slowly adding users, prioritizing:
1. content creators with existing content
2. people who refer a bunch of folks
Update 2: Seems like they are live- https://lbry.io/news/beta-live-declare-independence-big-media
When is the release date of the network? Is it still in beta stage?
