Happy Pride, Free speech is Gay!

in lbgt •  6 years ago

This Pride I worked at a Drag Queen show and I would like to say that there was no mention of the perversions presented to us daily, no pedophilia promotion, not one mention of the ubiquitous LGBT(QI2SA)Acronym.

I would hazard a guess that most homosexuals don't care about intersectional cultural marxism.

No mention of the Socialist talking points rammed down our throats daily.

Being the contrarian I am I tried out my new slogan...

FREE SPEECH IS GAY!

Like all good provacative slogans when I first said it the people got defensive. An American lady walked away, so I followed her and explained the challenges we faced in Canada surrounding free speech and how important free speech is for everyone.
She was shocked that Canadians didn't have free speech, agreed with me that Socialism was terrible but couldn't be swayed from her Trump Derangement Symptoms.

The next person who I said "Free Speech Is Gay" to again showed that gay people suffer from a victim complex.

He responded with "Why would you say free speech is Gay?"

To which I responded "Why wouldn't you?"

Then he tried "Why is free speech only gay?"

"I never said that" was my reply.

I then told them the story of Little Sisters bookstore how when they tried to import books about homosexuality the Canadian Border Services confiscated their books and a long and expensive court battle ensued.

In short free speech is important to everyone, you never know when your government is going to turn against you.

Overall it was a peaceful entertaining event just a campy variety show, no one threatened my life unlike many other events I have worked.

When I view homosexuality through a Christian lens, I was raised alternately by Christians and Hippies and when asked if I'm a Christian I answer " I live God with all my heart and I love my neighbor like I love God."

Anyways I digress, when I view homosexuality through a Christian lens I think the parable of the Adulterous Woman is most germane.

In this parable Rabbi Joshua Ben Joseph (Jesus for the Hellenized) confronts a group of men who bring a woman guilty of adultery wishing to stone her.

This is relevant because it is a sexual infraction.

Jesus challenged them proclaiming,
"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."

The rest of me just doesn't care what people do with their own genitals.

And I have no problem with anyone being proud of who they are.

Here is a video taken at a Pride Parade documenting that diversity and inclusivity doesn't include diversity of thought or Inclusion of Conservative Mo's
