THE AGE OF THE LEADER

In case you haven't heard; we're in the Information Age.

Things have and are changing.

We as individuals on the face of this earth can no longer rely on the government or a job or other "companies" to support us with 401k, Retirement or Social Security, etc.

Pick up any book by Robert Kiyosaki and you'll start to see the big picture.

John C. Maxwell refers to it as a paradigm shift.  If you haven't felt the changes in the economy lately, you need to wake up.

I am calling this the Era or the Age of the Leader.  This is the number 1 quality that will make or break you in the information age.  Leaders are not born, they are made and new leaders are arising each day.

I am vowing to make this shift.

How do you be a great leader.

My understanding of it is that you first must be a great follower.  In other words you must make yourself coachable to learn from the leaders who have already achieved or are headed where you're heading.

I am a firm believer that leadership is a skill that we can all develop.

Look at the leaders in LegalShield for example.  Many of them are young; and I know from having met many of them that they weren't born as natural leaders as some may think.  Some of them started off very introverted and shy; but now they speak on stage and can give some of the best training you've ever witnessed.

Let us apply the law of attraction -- intend it.
Be coachable.  Be willing to take the action steps necessary to be a great leader.

Let's sharpen our axe as Lincoln says and spend a majority of our time on personal development; but stay productive in the action.
