Interesting article. My thoughts do differ from yours. We all have different perspectives after all.
In my opinion, a good leader doesn't shoulder the burdens alone. Nor does a good leader take the full blame. A leader is not a scapegoat. A leader is still a human. They don't stand above other humans. A leader is not someone who leads in front, but rather someone who walks hand in hand with his/her followers.
A leader is a guide first and foremost. Not a shield, and never a sword. A good leader is like a lamp that shines the path for the followers to travel.
A wise leader is always prepared to overcome the opposition that may come. But, a good leader need not fear the evil that awaits him.
Yes, a leader may act as a sacrifice, but in no way should the leader shoulder all the persecution and burdens.
This is my own opinion, don't think for once that I'm opposing yours.
We are all different and unique. I hope more people can pitch in their opinions in this discussion.
In as much as we're all entitled to our opinions, I'd still maintain my stance dear.
