It is the capacity to introspect and ability to recognize oneself.
Self awareness is a key ingredient in leadership, its what distinguish failed leaders from successful leaders.
Self Awareness gives you the ability to examine yourself, see yourself in a mirrow, it gibes you the strenght to look back and review your actions in the past, through self awareness you will be able to identify where you went wrong and the strength and capacticy to correct this wrong. Self awareness is the capacity to lead to lead yourself and provide roboust leadership to others. Through self awareness you provide purpose for yourself and those you are meant to lead.
Today anywhere you find yourself you are a leader in one capacity or the other, to lead more effectively you need to be more self aware, because through it you will be able to lead yourself and lead others.
