The bamboo-leaf oak, scientific name quercus myrsinifolia, is an Asian tree species in the subgenus oak of the beech family.
It is an evergreen oak that also goes by several names, including Chinese evergreen oak and Chinese ring-cupped oak, and grows up to 20 meters .
The tree is native to eastern, central, and southeastern China, Japan, Korea, Laos, northern Thailand, and Vietnam.
