Japanese Stone Oak (Lithocarpus Edulis)

Japanese stone oak, whose scientific name is lithocarpus edulis, is a tall evergreen tree that can grow up to 9 meters tall.

Acorns are about 25 mm long and 8 mm wide. However, the taste is not good due to tannins.

Nevertheless, these tannins can be removed by soaking it in water for a few days and changing the water regularly .
