The Amur cork tree (scientific name: phellodendron amurense) is a species of tree in the citrus family.

It originates from East Asia, i.e., northern China, northeastern China, Korea, Ussuri Island, Amur Island, and Japan.

The tree contains alkaloids, which have antibiotic and antimicrobial properties.

In traditional Chinese medicine, the tree is used to treat meningitis, bacterial dysentery, pneumonia, tuberculosis, tumors, jaundice, and cirrhosis of the liver.

The Ainu people, on the other hand, use this plant called shikerebe-ni as a painkiller.

I recently had to hire a tree service to remove a hazardous tree from my backyard, and I can't stress enough the importance of choosing a licensed and insured company. Safety should always be the top priority, both for the workers and for your property. https://treeserviceschampaignil.com/
