Bonnet Orchids (Pleurothallis)

Pleurotalis is a genus of orchids commonly referred to as bonnet orchids.

This genus of orchids belongs to the New World group and is widespread throughout Mexico, Central America, South America and most of the West Indies.

This group varies greatly in vegetative form, terrestrial or epiphytic.

For example, they can be found as a 1 meter tall sugarcane like plants. They can also be clumped or trailing, and can be found hanging or climbing, etc.
