Copperleaf, botanical name acalypha wilkesiana, is an evergreen shrub reaching about 3 meters tall and 2 meters wide.

This plant is also known as Jacob's coat.

The leaves are copper green with splashes of red and thus have a mottled appearance.

These leaves may be flat or wrinkled, large and wide with jagged edges.

And both the branches and the leaves are covered with fine hairs.
