The creeping snowberry, scientific name symphoricarpos mollis, is a shrub in the honeysuckle family (caprifoliaceae).
Also known as Southern California snowberry or trip vine, it is found in western North America from British Columbia to inland California, Nevada, and Idaho.
This plant is a creeping, slow-growing, tottering shrub with stems that may reach several feet in length, while its height is limited to about 1 1/2 feet.
This shrub grows well in warm climates and can tolerate both strong sun and constant shade.
