The elegance female holly, whose scientific name is ilex integra, is an ornamental tree of the genus holly.
Also called the mochi tree, it is native to several parts of Asia, including Korea, Taiwan; central and southern regions of China. In Japan, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
The bark of this tree is used to make birdlime and is sometimes planted as a sacred tree.
