Fischer's leopard plant with botanical name ligularia fischeri is a species of the genus ligularia in the family asteraceae.
Also called gomchwi (Korean) or Fisher's ragwort, it is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial that grows up to 2 m tall.
The rhizomatous leaves are kidney-shaped, light green, and have long petioles with coarse serrations.
This plant can be eaten as pickled (jangajji or kimchi in Korea), and can also be eaten raw as a ssam (wrap) vegetable .
