Kanono (Maori), with the botanical name coprosma autumnalis, is a forest shrub native to New Zealand.

Also called raurēkau, it grows widely in the North and South Islands.

The leaves are the largest of the coprosma and are often speckled.

In moist and shady forested areas, kanono can grow up to 6 meters tall.
