Lacy tree fern, scientific name sphaeropteris cooperi, is a tree fern native to Australia in New South Wales and Queensland.
This fern is synonymous with cyathea cooperi, also known as the scaly tree fern or Cooper's tree fern.
This is a medium to large sized, fast growing tree fern, up to 15 meters tall with a trunk up to 30 cm thick.
The crown is extensive and has light green leaves that can reach 4 to 6 meters in length.
