The lucky plant with the botanical name crassula ovata is a succulent with small pink or white flowers native to KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape provinces in South Africa and Mozambique.

Also called the jade plant, money plant, or money tree, it is commonly used as a houseplant throughout the world.

This plant is very popular because it requires little water and can survive in a variety of indoor conditions.

Lucky plants are also known for their ability to propagate easily from clippings or even wild leaves that have fallen off the plant.
