Rosemary, botanical name salvia rosmarinus, is an aromatic evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean region.

The plant leaves fragrant, evergreen hemlock needle-like leaves.

The leaves are 2-4 cm long and 2-5 mm wide, green above and white below with thick, short woolly hairs.

Flowers are white, pink, purple, or dark blue and bloom in spring and summer in warm climates, but may continue to bloom in warmer climates.
