Rusty blackhaw with the botanical name viburnum rufidulum is a species of flowering shrub or small tree common in parts of the eastern and central United States.
Also called blue haw, rusty nanny-berry, or southern black haw, it produces creamy white flowers in April and May.
The leaves are deciduous, leathery, simple, and grow on opposite blades.
Bark color ranges from "reddish brown to almost black" and forms "yellow plates on large stems."
