Short Spurred Calanthe (Calanthe Clavata)

This orchid plant is found in southern China, Taiwan, Assam, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Its habitat includes warm to cold areas along dense forests and valleys at altitudes of 800 to 1300 meters.

The leaves are medium to large in size, with small pseudobulbs surrounded by a leaf midrib with a narrowly elliptic petiolar base.
