The sweet viburnum tree, scientifically known as viburnum odoratissimum, is a shrub or small tree in the adoxaceae family.
It grows naturally in China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the Himalayan region of India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, but is commonly grown as an ornamental garden in other regions.
The tree can grow up to 9 meters tall and has glossy oval leaves up to 20 cm long.
The flowers are fragrant white, pyramidal clusters that bloom in spring, followed by red fruits that ripen to black.
