League of Legends Gameplay

Dear Steemers and Summoners!

I was thinking about making gameplay videos of League of Legends. However, I was not sure what you guys would be interested and what would be the best way of doing it. How do you guys embed your gameplays (of any game) and would you prefer if I create a video of a whole game, or simply a portion of it? (from a replay, for example).

I want to make this fun for all of us, which is why I'm asking.

I hate this game so much. Spent way too much time playing it. Finished two seasons in Challenger tier and was the rank1 holder for months, but it was not worth the time at all. Glad I stopped playing this and everything else few years ago.

Hi @regnartheking! It's nice to meet you!
Firstly, I want to congratulate you on your success on Steemit! It's wonderful to hear such success stories! You have a new follower :P

Now, I completely understand your distaste for the game. The community may oftentimes be overbearing, and it may feel like a waste of time. But in the end, for me, it is way of relaxing from the stress of everyday life. There is time for everything under the sun - a time to work, a time to walk and breathe fresh air, and a time to play and have fun. Video games are just another way of having fun, and as long as a person doesn't spend all their time playing them, I see nothing wrong with it.

Of course, everyone is different and if you prefer not to play video games, that is perfectly fine. My grandmother would avoid fiction books and novels because they were 'a waste of time' to her. And that's alright ^_^ My grandfather, on the other hand, loves all forms of fiction.

But anyway! I'm glad that you are doing well and I hope that any worries you may have will leave you soon. ^_^

Honestly, back in the day when I was playing it, I enjoyed it. Otherwise, I wouldn't play it at all. But things changed, and I became older. It's normal when you think about the past and thinks what else you could do with your time. With my current knowledge back there it'd be much different, but obviously, it can't happen.

Was a fun time either way and made some money on selling 3v3 teams and Elo boosting. Probably it was the break point which made me hate the game because it started becoming more like a business than a fun time.

Nowadays, I rather spend an hour making a great post for steemit than playing a game, but as you said everyone is different.
I enjoyed discussing it with your so take my upvote and follow as well. As I can see you are new to this platform as well. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help. Not only steemit related but social media in general, whatever you want.

If you want to monetize your gameplays and youtube content, I'd say you should with Twitch.tv and make videos of the highlights. If you are not camera shy, it wouldn't make much more difference between playing with or without viewers. The start might be hard, but once your channel starts growing you are good to go.

Ahh yes, money starts killing the fun in things. But people change as well, and that's ok! We have to keep moving and adapting. Thank you for the tips! I was actually thinking of making a Twitch channel, and I did! But I want to make it look good, which I haven't had the time for. XD

Yeah, League got very different very quick. I only really enjoyed it until the end of season 4. I spent season 5 and season 6 boosting people but come season 7, the money couldn't even keep me in the game xD

Haha, League did become quite different. But it's also much better in some ways ^_^ It's not better, or worse. Just different, I think. What took you out of the game?

I was starting to get too busy to keep up with the constant changes. Reading through the patch notes and "theorycrafting" was like the only reason I was decent, lol. Oh, and I had pretty good mechanics which started meaning less and less and that kinda turned me off as well.

Aaaah, I see. I'll be honest, I barely ever keep up with the patch notes XD Haha. And I recently got into Gold 1. Can't wait for my border next season :P

Mechanics are currently really important! Especially when you play vs assassins, and champions with many skillshots. A good mechanical dodge, or positioning can save your life and win the game ^_^ So your good mechanics would always be very appreciated by your teammates :P Hehe.
