Learning about Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology for Starters

in learning •  7 years ago  (edited)

When I was just first introduced to bitcoin, it's difficult to understand the technology, not mention how this virtual currency has been widely used around the world and I was just sitting here trying to grasp the very bit of it all.

I think we're very fortunate to have these awesome people and always here to share their knowledge about this awesome technology. I hope to someday give back to the community as well.

If you are just like me, starting to grow your bitcoin knowledge and want to learn more about blockchain technology, here is the list of people you need to follow on Twitter and YouTube now. The people that I Iove to listen to when educating myself and get updated in the word of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

  1. Andreas M. Antonopoulos - He's my top favorite when it comes to educating people about Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology. Author of “Mastering Bitcoin,” published by O’Reilly Media. I highly recommend to watch Andreas Antonopoulos Youtube Videos. We need more people like him in the cryptoworld. Listen to his talks on Youtube

  2. Nick Szabo - He's the original proposer of the “smart contracts” concept behind Ethereum in 1996. He could be the real Satoshi nakamoto. or NOT!

  3. Charlie Lee - known as , “SatoshiLite”, He is the creator of Litecoin, the most significant early Bitcoin alternative.

  4. Brian Armstrong - the CEO of Coinbase, When the biggest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange tells you to not buy so much bitcoin in the midst of a historic rally—that’s when you know you can trust them. Armstrong mostly tweets about Coinbase itself.

  5. Jameson Lopp, - “The Outlaw” A gun-toting OG bitcoin developer, Lopp had his home SWATted during a bitter debate over the Segwit 2x fork—and kept right on coding!
For all open source content about learning bitcoin and blockchain, check out jameson lopp bitcoin resources on his website.

They say it's never too late start something if you put your mind to it. So I say, just start and keep learning.

Listed above are my personal choices.
