The role of music in learning language
Important reasons exist that show listening to music has a great impact on learning English. Listening to classical music can activate the mind in learning. As we know, songs contain up to date words and useful phrases. Listening to English songs increases your concentration and understanding of pronunciations and rhythms.
The repetitive nature of words in music causes words to take shape in your mind easily. The songs you are listening to have the ability to set themselves in your mind with their melody and, through the power of music, be played over and over again. This factor is effective in learning English words so much so that after learning, forgetting them will be an impossible task.
Some people think learning English and spending time on it is hard, but by listening to a song anywhere and without spending a particularly amount of time, the possibility to practice English can be present and effective. On the other hand, English music teaches us about the culture, mentality and emotions of English speaking individuals. We can share our opinions and ideas about a particular song with our friends after listening to it, which insures we are rethinking and using dialogue to refresh memory on something particular we have just learned.
