TITLE: Lesson #1, section 3 (Module 1) for Business English, students of Intermediate level

1. First we are going to learn some vocabulary which you can use for talking about “Work and Jobs”.

You can say :

in charge of design budgets / in charge of car designing
responsible for design budgets / responsible for car designing

NOW LET'S LEARN the phrases.

Then we start our Conversation 🙆 😎

1. CAREER SKILLS. Imagine that you are at an international conference and there are several people you’ve just been introduced to. What are you going to speak about? Which facts are appropriate to mention?

2. Think in what situations you talk to other people about their jobs. I guess is when we are meeting for the first time. Your comments are welcome.

Think how much detail you generally give.

Don’t forget to USE PREPOSITIONS in the phrases like ➪ responsible for, in charge of, etc.

You have to learn the vocabulary from the above.

Here are more phrases for you to develop your conversation in such situation ➪ “meeting for the first time at an international conference”
