The cost of construction of water supply system has been increased from Tk 25 crores to 27.33 million taka. The main gate was about to do one. It is now being done two. According to the project proposal, the unplanned tanneries were so long in the densely populated Hazaribagh area of ​​Dhaka. There was no system of scientific management of waste in the area. As a result, public life was severely disastrous. So, in December 2005, the project was approved by ECNEC for the transfer of factories in December 2005 at the cost of 175 crore 75 lakhs. Hazaribagh's 154 factories got land allotted in this city. Even after giving guidance from the High Court, the industrial town is still not ready. The number of industrial units allotted by 205 plots on about 200 acres of land is 155.

After one year of approval, the expansion of the project was extended by one year to December 2006. After six months it was extended again. With no foreign assistance during the project, expenditure of Tk 545.36 crore has been increased to three and a half years till June 2010. After that, new organs are added to the project. Project CETP, dumping yard, water extraction, refining and supply system could not be completed by June 2010. As a result, according to the proposal given to the Planning Commission, the expiration was again extended to two years. After 10 years, the cost of the project was increased to Taka 1,787.17 million. Even after a year the extension was extended twice, which ended in June last year. But the project was not completed after two years was extended again.

According to the report made by the Ministry of Industry, 153 out of 155 factories submitted their lay-out plan. All the layouts have been approved. According to approved le-out plan, 143 industries have already started construction of their factories. The construction of the remaining 12 plots was postponed due to the trial and the high court's observation. On the other hand, 53 tannery industries have set up tanning drums. 130 tanneries have applied for permanent electricity connection. 120 industries have applied for gas connections. Process of gas connections in two establishments is underway. 45 institutions have applied for water connection. 42 industries have been given water meters.
